C-section recovery is more than healing a scar
Many women are told they’re “recovered” once the wound has healed — yet are left feeling disconnected from their core, unsure how to move, or worried something isn’t quite right.
C-section recovery often needs a deeper, more individual approach — one that looks at your scar, core, pelvic floor, movement patterns and overall wellbeing together.

You're in the right place if
-
You’ve had a C-section (recently or years ago) and don’t feel fully recovered
-
Your tummy or scar feels numb, tight, painful or disconnected
-
You’re experiencing pelvic floor symptoms or core weakness
-
You want to return to movement or exercise safely
-
You’re looking for specialist, one-to-one support — not generic advice
Every session is shaped around you, but support may include:
-
Hands-on scar therapy and guidance for self-care
-
Core and pelvic health support to rebuild strength and connection
-
Breathwork and movement guidance to support safe return to activity
-
Education around posture, daily movement and lifestyle factors
My approach is informed by Holistic Core Restore® principles, alongside specialist training in pelvic health and scar therapy — always adapted to your body, your history and your goals.
C-section recovery happens in stages. Most women benefit from a short series of sessions, allowing time for healing, integration and long-term change.
Specialist abdominal support also includes
C-section scar massage
focused hands-on work to improve scar mobility, sensitivity and comfort
One-off scar massage sessions are available, though most women benefit from a more structured recovery approach.
Diastatis recti programme
support for abdominal separation, core weakness and loss of connection after pregnancy or surgery
