Payments 

​

Payments are made in advance to secure your place. Payments are made via the payment option on my webpage, Jane App or bank transfer for Monday classes.

​

If you require an alternative payment method please contact me.​

​

Payments are non-refundable or transferable. I will however offer a refund in the event that I can fill your place eg: if you leave the course early or are unable to attend the full course, so please ask.

Unless personally discussed with me in specific pre arranged circumstances. In these pre arranged set circumstances no more than 2 sessions will be carried over to the following term.

​

Remember this is my livelihood, I have many business related fees to pay to run my classes, sessions and massage therapy. All for your benefit and security. I don't have sick pay or a pension paid to me by an employer. 

​

In the event of a class or session being cancelled by myself, I aim to provide an additional class or session free of charge at a later date or an opportunity to transfer to another class. Where this is not possible a refund may be offered.

In the event of a class or session being cancelled due to the enforcement of Covid 19 restrictions the class or session will move from in person to Zoom. Please ensure you have access to Zoom. It is free.

Confidentiality 

​

Exercise and Nutrition in Pregnancy and Postnatal will hold all personal details relating to you strictly confidential and will not share this information with anyone else (without your permission e.g. with a physio)as per GDPR guidelines..

​

Occasionally photographs taken during a class may be used for marketing purposes. Please advise us if you do not wish for your photograph (and babies photograph) to be used in this way. There is a tick box on your health screening form.

 

Health & Safety 

​

You will be asked to complete a short questionnaire prior to a course to ensure that the class is safe for you to participate and suitable to your needs. It is your responsibility to keep me informed of any changes to your pregnancy or health during a course. The pregnancy classes are suitable for all "low risk" pregnancies. Postnatal classes suitable for postnatal recovery. If unsure speak to your midwife/GP or consultant.

 

​All participants are advised to get clearance to participate from your G.P , physio or midwife. If postnatal, you must be cleared to exercise at your post-birth check up and await 10 weeks post C-section and 6 weeks post vaginal delivery to join a class.

​

Health screening forms should be completed online at least 24 hours prior to your first class. Please note: there are some conditions which make exercise contra-indicated (unsuitable) in which case you will not be allowed to participate. In some cases I may refer you back to your GP, physio or midwife for advice and clearance to exercise. If you fail to complete the form prior to attending your first class and are referred no refunds will be offered for classes missed.

You are advised to not attend class if feeling unwell, have a temperature, exhausted, experiencing braxton hicks contractions (if pregnant) or if there are any changes to the health of your pregnancy without first speaking to your G.P/midwife. No refunds can be offered for classes missed. Upon request you may be ale to transfer to a later course and this is subject to the discretion of Exercise and Nutrition in Pregnancy and Postnatal.            ​

 

Professionalism

Exercise and Nutrition in Pregnancy and Postnatal is committed to providing safe up to date effective prenatal & postnatal fitness and womens health fitness and advice. I adhere to a code of ethics to remain professional and work within my remit. Where a client falls outside of my remit I will refer to another appropriate professional.

​

Please let me know at the nearest opportunity of any concerns/issues/complaints and I will try my best to clarify information or rectify any issues you may have.

You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Exercise and Nutrition in Pregnancy and Postnatal By Fiona from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of Exercise and Nutrition in Pregnancy and Postnatal by Fiona’s negligence.
